The beamed lounge bar has a log fire and there is a comfortable dining room. Accommodation available. Disabled toilet. This 17th Cent. former coaching inn once had extensive stabling to provide fresh draught horses for travellers. Whites Directory of Suffolk (1844) states "Coaches pass eight times a day to Norwich, Bury St Edmunds & London". The building dates from the early to mid 17th century.
